Business Intelligence Analyst – Advanced Excel (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with deep expertise in Excel to support AI model training initiatives. This remote contract position involves turning raw data into actionable insights that improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage advanced Excel features to structure, analyze, and visualize large datasets for AI training.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to deliver clear business intelligence solutions.
• Prepare, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and document BI workflows, maintaining transparent written and verbal communication.
• Translate business questions into data‑driven insights that guide model improvement.
• Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business intelligence or analytics with a focus on Excel.
• Exceptional proficiency in Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, and data modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet remote deliverables.
• Solid understanding of business processes and translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience cleaning and preparing large datasets for analytics or AI training.
