About the role
The BIM Specialist will work within Power Design’s pre‑construction team to develop accurate, cost‑effective electrical design plans for large‑scale projects. This role requires close collaboration with engineers, project managers and other designers in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and produce high‑quality electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) while ensuring they meet project milestones.
- Prepare and manage external references (xrefs) such as architectural, mechanical and plumbing drawings for large projects.
- Communicate with project management and design teams to align drawings with project deliverables.
- Maintain strict quality standards and adhere to NEC guidelines.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of CADD experience with AutoCAD and Revit; 3D modeling experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general electrical concepts and NEC.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Possession of a current U.S. visa and ability to travel internationally as needed.
