Bilingual Senior Accountant

About the role

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to join our team at Everty in Costa Rica. We’re looking for an experienced accounting professional who can take ownership of key processes, work independently, and communicate confidently in both English and Spanish. English proficiency at B2+ to fluent level is required.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general accounting activities and support the monthly close.
• Prepare bank, balance‑sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records and calculate depreciation.
• Prepare tax filings, financial statements, reporting packs and audit documentation.
• Oversee PROCOMER reporting and support Free Trade Zone compliance.
• Manage tenant billing, monitor lease terms and rent adjustments.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Active membership in good standing with the Colegio de Contadores Privados de Costa Rica.
• A valid digital signature certificate.
• Strong experience in accounting, tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency (English B2+ to fluent).
• Experience with PROCOMER, Free Trade Zone regime and transfer pricing is a plus.
