Bilingual Medical Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate, detail‑oriented Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our growing remote healthcare team. You will support U.S.‑based providers by handling patient triage, care coordination, documentation, and communication in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Answer patient calls and messages, triage urgent concerns, and escalate when needed.
• Assist providers with follow‑ups, medication management, and care coordination.
• Communicate lab results, prescriptions, and treatment instructions under provider guidance.
• Document patient interactions, histories, and provider notes accurately in EMR systems.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and support billing workflows.
• Maintain HIPAA‑compliant records and ensure confidentiality of protected health information.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of clinical experience in hospitals, clinics, or medical offices.
• Licensed Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical certification.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment during U.S. business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
