Bid/Proposal Strategy Manager

About the role

Deloitte's US Bid/Proposal Strategy and Writing team is seeking a Manager to lead strategic pursuit activities, develop win themes, and craft compelling proposal content for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Shape pursuit deliverables and buyer experiences through labs, interactive proposals, oral presentations, and microsites.
• Manage the end‑to‑end pursuit process: confirm RFP requirements, create schedules, orchestrate deliverable development, and keep teams on track.
• Lead strategy sessions to create win themes and write persuasive cover letters, executive summaries, and other proposal components.
• Utilize proposal development software to generate and tailor baseline documents.
• Support strategic initiatives such as building new tools, templates, content, and learning modules.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator, writer, facilitator, coach, presenter, and strategist with strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical high‑school equivalent for Costa Rica.
• Minimum 8 + years of experience in B2B communications, strategic marketing communications, or a related field.
• Creative thinker capable of storytelling and innovative thinking.
• Experience leading senior‑executive teams in strategic discussions.
• Strong English oral, writing, and editing skills.
• Legal authorization to work in Costa Rica without employer sponsorship.

Required skills

• Fluency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
• Proficiency in proposal development software.
