About the role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This remote, part‑time position involves building high‑performance services and APIs that power our applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize systems for reliability, security, and efficiency.
- Write clean, well‑documented, and thoroughly tested code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, focusing on root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven expertise in backend development using modern languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Strong proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases and data‑modeling principles.
- Deep understanding of system security, authentication, and authorization best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
