About the role

We are looking for a General Food Service Assistant to join our institutional cafeteria in Cartago. The role involves preparing and serving meals while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Wash and maintain work areas, equipment, and service lines.
• Support food pre‑preparation tasks following established quality standards.
• Provide friendly service to customers at the service line.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and dining team on operational tasks.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (ninth grade).
• Valid food handling certificate (mandatory).
• Previous experience in cafeteria or restaurant food service (preferred).
• Availability for rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night).
• Team‑oriented attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.

Required skills
