About the role

The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, organization, preparation and dispatch of merchandise while maintaining inventory control and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and verify incoming goods against invoices, purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Classify, label and place products in designated areas, maintaining order and proper stock rotation.
• Prepare orders, shipments and deliveries according to authorized requests.
• Load, unload, move and arrange merchandise using appropriate equipment.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Record all product movements—entries, exits, returns—in established control systems.
• Check expiration dates, physical condition, quantities and storage requirements.
• Report shortages, excesses, damages, expired items or any anomalies promptly.
• Keep the warehouse, tools and work areas clean, orderly and safe.
• Follow internal procedures, occupational safety rules and operational controls.
• Support additional warehouse tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (high school diploma, technical degree or related field).
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, inventory or logistics roles.
• Basic knowledge of receiving, storing, dispatching and inventory control processes.
• Physical ability to lift and move merchandise.
• Availability for flexible working hours when required.
• Organized, responsible, detail‑oriented and service‑focused.
• Team player who follows procedures and operational instructions.

Required skills

• Basic use of inventory management software.
• Proficiency with standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheet applications).
