Automation Developer – RPA (Remote, Costa Rica)

About the role

The Automation Developer will design, develop, and test robotic process automation (RPA) workflows for multiple products and applications. Working remotely from Costa Rica, you will collaborate closely with Business Analysts and the engagement team to deliver efficient, high‑quality automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as refinement, planning, review, retrospective, and daily huddles.
• Design, develop, and test RPA solutions using UiPath and Power Automate to improve processes across departments.
• Communicate project constraints and road‑blocks promptly.
• Help establish coding standards, governance, and best practices for RPA.
• Conduct code reviews and demos for stakeholders.
• Support and maintain existing RPA solutions in production.
• Document technical designs, release notes, and other project artefacts.
• Evaluate and implement automated tools and utilities.
• Support the Quality Management System to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering or a related field.
• English proficiency of at least 90%.
• Minimum 2 years of experience automating repetitive tasks with UiPath and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of attended, unattended and hybrid RPA automations.
• Ability to create reusable, resilient solutions and translate business processes into automation scripts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Self‑starter attitude, team‑player mindset, and attention to detail.
