Autism Paraprofessional (Continuous Recruitment)

About the role

We are seeking an Autism Paraprofessional to join our educational team on a continuous recruitment basis. Under general supervision, you will support autistic students in group settings, one‑on‑one interactions, and structured classroom environments, helping them integrate and become more independent.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support to autistic students during classroom activities and individualized sessions.
• Assist with behavior management, instructional tasks, and daily routines as needed.
• Facilitate student integration into the classroom and promote independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 48 college/university semester units or successful completion of the district proficiency test.
• Experience in childcare, psychology, education, or training of autistic students; experience in a structured environment is preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license or State/Federal identification.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
