Associate Technical Account Manager – SQL & Data (Remote)

About the role

The Associate Technical Account Manager (TAM) works within Varicent’s Customer Success organization, supporting VIP customers on a remote basis from Costa Rica. You will act as a trusted technical adviser, helping clients maximise the value of Varicent’s SaaS solutions through proactive monitoring, configuration, and guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage advanced SQL skills to analyse data and monitor solution health.
• Support the primary TAM in tracking performance and usage of Varicent platforms across a portfolio of VIP accounts.
• Coach users on core Varicent functionality, configuration concepts and best‑practice methodologies.
• Review new features, fixes and release notes to assess impact on customer environments.
• Configure Varicent solutions based on documented requirements under senior TAM guidance.
• Prepare and share monthly performance, utilization and support metric summaries.
• Analyze usage patterns to identify optimisation opportunities and potential issues.
• Assist in proactive maintenance actions and continuous solution improvement.
• Collaborate with TAMs and internal teams to resolve technical queries and drive customer success.
