Associate Sewer

About the role

The Associate Sewer performs sewing work to support manufacturing and production activities in a clean‑room environment, following established procedures and guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Use tools such as needles, scissors, forceps, specialized tooling and a microscope to perform assigned sewing steps for valve assemblies.
• Verify completed steps against specifications and conduct successive checks on colleagues' work.
• Follow job functions in compliance with work instructions, SOPs and record traceable information on device history records.
• Maintain punctual attendance, work full shifts and perform general housekeeping of the work area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sewing, GMP, clean‑room or medical‑device environments is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision and follow detailed manufacturing instructions.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Good hand‑eye coordination.
• Ability to read, interpret and comprehend policies and procedures (English preferred).
• Knowledge of and adherence to environmental health, safety and quality guidelines for clean‑room medical device manufacturing.
