Associate Manager, Technical Services

About the role

The Associate Manager Technical Services leads laboratory‑based technical services across Metrology, Microbiology, Receiving Inspection and related functions, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical services activities and oversee laboratory operations to meet quality and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and develop a team of engineers and quality professionals, handling performance management and talent growth.
• Direct investigations of complex product and process quality issues using root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive action processes.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise in microbiology, sterilization, calibrations, receiving inspection and quality systems.
• Monitor quality performance metrics (defects, yield, scrap, non‑conformances, complaints) and drive data‑based improvement actions.
• Ensure compliance with QMS Regulation, ISO 13485 and MDSAP requirements.
• Support cross‑functional projects, laboratory expansion and operational readiness while meeting timelines.
• Act as operational backup for the Technical Services leader to maintain continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in quality engineering, technical services, microbiology, sterilization, calibrations or receiving inspection within a regulated industry.
• At least 2 years of people‑leadership experience.
• Fluent English proficiency.
