Assembler I

About the role

We are looking for an Assembler I to join our production team at Moog’s San José facility. This entry‑level, hands‑on position supports daily plant operations by setting up, operating and maintaining assembly line equipment while ensuring product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly line machinery at fixed workstations.
• Install components, move, pack and sort raw materials and finished goods as they progress through the line.
• Monitor output quality, identify defective items and initiate re‑work or discard procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily production and assembly records for performance analysis.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines under close supervision.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent; basic vocational or technical education is a plus.
• Limited or no prior experience; ability to learn quickly in a structured environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and visual instructions.
• Willingness to work on‑site in San José and adhere to shift schedules.
