About the role

The school is looking for a bilingual Primary Assistant to support the lead teacher in delivering a safe, organized, and bilingual learning environment. The role involves academic, administrative, and pastoral support to enhance students' overall development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in preparing and executing bilingual pedagogical activities.
• Provide individual or group support to students during lessons.
• Reinforce instructions and content in both English and Spanish according to classroom needs.
• Support positive behavior management and supervision of student conduct.
• Help create, organize, and maintain teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Keep classroom materials, resources, and spaces orderly.
• Assist with attendance records, homework tracking, and basic communication with families.
• Participate in school events, projects, and institutional activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and school coexistence standards.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, arrivals, and departures when required.
• Promote hygiene, organization, and student autonomy.
• Identify and report relevant academic, emotional, or behavioral situations.
