Application Support Engineer – Costa Rica

About the role

You will be a critical technical resource in a dynamic cross‑functional team, providing support for both in‑house applications and third‑party vendor tools used in hardware and software engineering development. The role requires strong communication, issue triaging, and a passion for automating routine tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist internal customers with essential tools used in hardware and software development.
• Lead planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive tool solutions for ASIC, FPGA, and system software projects.
• Perform performance benchmarking, monitor key applications and databases, and automate metrics‑collection processes.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to identify bugs, resolve issues, and implement preventative measures.
• Troubleshoot development pipelines and support continuous integration environments.
