Analyst (MDM Data Steward)

About the role

Roche’s Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) is seeking an Analyst (MDM Data Steward) to join the US‑based Master Data Management team. You will act as a bridge between technical data operations and business strategy, ensuring that health‑care master data is accurate, compliant, and ready to support critical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Process Data Change Requests (DCRs) and maintain master records for Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Health Care Organizations (HCOs) and Affiliations.
• Serve as Data Steward for HCP, HCO, and affiliation profiles, investigating and resolving data discrepancies.
• Validate newly onboarded datasets against defined standards to guarantee data integrity.
• Develop and document governance methodologies to improve MDM, data integration, taxonomy and reporting.
• Identify automation opportunities and build data products that streamline workflow.
• Provide analytical support and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
• Hands‑on experience in data stewardship or data‑analytics operations.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, life‑sciences or biotech industry is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Practical knowledge of Python or PySpark.
• Experience with MDM solutions such as Reltio or Informatica MDM and Pharma CRM systems.
