DataCenter Material Associate III

About the role

Amazon is looking for a self‑motivated DataCenter Material Associate III to support inventory, shipping and logistics operations for its IT Hub. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating shipments, and creating documentation while following strict SOPs to protect customer data.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain storage order, manage inventory, and keep files updated.
• Create Excel queries to validate inventory files and perform regular audits.
• Coordinate transportation with carriers, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and packages.
• Support operations team planning, All‑Hands meetings, and on‑site events.
• Create and update SOPs, documentation, and training materials.
• Identify and resolve inventory defects, execute small improvement projects, and generate inventory reports.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, warehousing, logistics or material forecasting.
• Detail‑oriented planner able to handle high‑volume tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Excel (queries, reporting, data validation).
• Inventory management and logistics processes.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning and AI model development (preferred).
