About the role

Join Amazon Robotics as an Agile Remote Operator, where you will shape the future of robotics through human‑AI collaboration. Working remotely, you will create and refine multi‑modal data annotations that train autonomous systems, and you will support tele‑planning and tele‑operation activities for cutting‑edge robotic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑modal data annotations (object segmentation, classification, detection, and written descriptions) for AI model training.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate ambiguous technical requirements into clear annotation standards and SOPs.
• Conduct remote tele‑planning and tele‑operation to support robotics development and testing.
• Define quality standards and KPIs for annotation projects lacking established procedures.
• Validate annotated data using troubleshooting techniques and validation scripts.
• Analyze the impact of ground‑truth data quality on model performance metrics.
• Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and document best practices.
• Communicate status, challenges, and recommendations through written reports and presentations.
• Travel to the United States 1‑2 times per year for short on‑site visits.

Required profile

• Strong judgment and adaptability in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams to define processes.
• Ability to create clear documentation and SOPs.
• Excellent analytical skills to link data quality with model outcomes.
