Accounts Payable Analyst I

About the role

Confluent Medical Technologies seeks an Accounts Payable Analyst I to join its finance team in Costa Rica. The analyst will ensure accurate processing of supplier payments, employee reimbursements, and travel expenses while supporting the Accounting Services Manager and Accounting Director.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process weekly supplier payments, employee reimbursements, and travel expenses.
• Post vendor invoices, perform three‑way match validation, and execute weekly payment runs and wire transfers.
• Perform month‑end close activities, including accrual preparation and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Analyze AP aging reports, reconcile assigned GL and sub‑ledger accounts, and conduct monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, and warehouse supervisors to resolve AP issues.
• Support internal and external audits and respond to corporate inquiries.
• Develop and maintain AP policies to ensure compliance with IFRS, IAS, and US GAAP.
• Assist with budget preparation, budget execution analysis, and implementation of accounting systems.
• Provide support for 1099 reporting and ad‑hoc accounting requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Required skills

• Experience with Epicor ERP or similar accounting systems.
• Knowledge of three‑way match validation and AP processing.
• Understanding of IFRS, IAS, and US GAAP compliance.
• Familiarity with month‑end close, accruals, and GL reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare 1099 reports.
