Accounting Professional – Latin America

About the role

JLL is seeking an Accounting Professional to oversee key financial processes across its Latin American operations. You will ensure the accuracy, control, and compliance of accounting records while collaborating with regional and global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute weekly payment controls and reconciliations, maintaining proper documentation and policy compliance.
• Manage collections controls, resolve discrepancies, and handle related inquiries.
• Validate accounting records for precision, integrity, and adherence to accounting principles.
• Record operational expenses promptly in the accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve in‑transit items.
• Prepare reconciliations of various accounting accounts according to schedule, maintaining organized supporting documentation.
• Support the Senior Accountant in weekly management reporting and monthly/annual closing activities.
• Participate in special projects and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with teams across Latin America to ensure smooth accounting processes and effective communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proven expertise in bank and account reconciliations.
• Practical knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Intermediate proficiency in English for reading technical documentation.
