Accounting Manager – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed platform acquiring landscaping companies across Florida. As the Accounting Manager you will lead a remote accounting team, own the books for multiple acquired entities, and provide the reporting that keeps investors, the board, and lenders confident.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full monthly close and reconcile every balance‑sheet account across multiple entities.
• Lead accounting integration of newly acquired companies, including purchase accounting and opening‑balance entries.
• Drive data migrations from QuickBooks into core systems such as Acumatica (ERP), Aspire (field operations), and Anova (payroll).
• Prepare monthly reporting for the board, investors, and lenders, ensuring covenant and fixed‑charge‑coverage compliance.
• Build and standardize AP, AR, invoicing, and cash‑collection processes across the portfolio.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a remote accounting team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Experience in a private‑equity‑backed or active M&A environment (strongly preferred).
• Strong QuickBooks expertise – a must‑have.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data imports/exports).
• Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable in a fast‑moving startup.
• Fluent English.
