Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead a small, dynamic accounting team, balancing hands‑on execution with strategic oversight. You will work closely with leadership and cross‑functional partners to ensure accurate financial reporting and support key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate journal entries for month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Own and reconcile intercompany relationships and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Monitor variances, trends, and cost‑center performance.
• Support AP, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Regulatory teams with ad‑hoc requests.
• Assist external auditors and coordinate audit documentation.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Internal Audit, and Business teams.
• Design, document, and improve accounting procedures.
• Lead process‑optimization projects and drive automation initiatives.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, providing feedback and setting goals.

Required profile

• Fluent English with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years of progressive financial accounting experience, including staff supervision.
• CPA, public‑accounting, or large‑company experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with large ERP or settlement systems; Oracle Cloud is a plus.
• International and multi‑currency accounting exposure is advantageous.
