Accounting Assistant

About the role
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support our finance team in daily bookkeeping and reporting tasks. The role involves accurate data entry, reconciliations and assisting with tax and financial statement preparation. This position offers the opportunity to develop practical accounting skills in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Enter financial transactions using accounting software and maintain accurate records.
- Perform bank account and control account reconciliations.
- Post entries to the General Ledger.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and annual accounts.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Desire to work with CPI (if applicable) and a strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of tax regulations.
- Proficient written and verbal English for international communication.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
