Accountant – Record to Report (RTR) – Heredia

About the role

DHL Express is looking for an Accountant to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team. You will be part of the Record to Report (RTR) function, supporting processes across the Americas and ensuring high‑quality financial data for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and post accounting entries.
• Analyze account balances and perform reconciliations.
• Process receivable and payable transactions.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from regional offices.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Support audit requests and maintain control evidence.
• Collaborate with other SSC areas and business partners to ensure accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing).
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).

Required skills

• SAP (practical experience preferred).
• Microsoft Excel – advanced level.
• Microsoft Office suite.
