Accountant II – Accounts Payable

About the role

The Accountant II – Accounts Payable will join the Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) team, supporting travel & expense, invoice processing, payment processing and vendor management across multiple countries. Reporting to the S2P Process Delivery Supervisor, you will ensure accurate and timely AP operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support migration of S2P processes to the San Jose, Costa Rica hub and create process documentation.
• Handle escalated AP, invoice and payment issues, responding to vendor and internal queries.
• Maintain vendor master data, perform reconciliations, and process vendor payments.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including AP accruals and journal entries.
• Generate periodic S2P reports and KPI measurements.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and internal policy requirements.
• Conduct Concur audits and other credit‑card related processes.
• Collaborate with corporate suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve cases.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in a financial shared‑service centre supporting multiple countries.
• Experience in the S2P, payments and vendor‑management functions.
• Ability to work in culturally diverse teams and meet deadlines.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

• Concur (travel & expense) platform.
