Academic Researcher – Remote Contract (up to $55/hr)

About the role

We are seeking experienced academic researchers to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will work with cross‑functional groups to prepare, format, and synthesize complex documents and research findings for Fortune 500‑level projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, format, and review complex Word and PDF documents using advanced features such as tracked changes and data extraction.
• Collaborate with legal, healthcare, policy, and finance professionals to support diverse project needs.
• Translate complex research findings into clear, concise reports and presentations.
• Evaluate and synthesize academic literature, legal documents, or industry data to inform project outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum relevant professional experience in academic research, legal, policy, healthcare, or related sectors.
• Master’s degree, PhD, or JD from a recognized institution.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Word (tracked changes, formatting, document review).
• PDF editing and data extraction (e.g., Adobe Acrobat).
• Document formatting and layout expertise.
