About the role
The firm is seeking a qualified Labor Law Attorney to provide expert legal advice and representation on employment matters. The role involves direct interaction with clients, preparation of legal documents, and participation in media engagements on labor topics.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise the drafting of responses to client legal inquiries.
- Review and update legal support material used in client training sessions.
- Analyze and verify calculations for settlements, wage garnishments, and other labor-related financial matters.
- Perform and review English‑Spanish translations of labor law queries.
- Represent the organization in media appearances to discuss labor law issues.
- Draft service proposals and present them to prospective clients.
- Coordinate and review support documents for conciliation, mediation, and judicial hearings before the Ministry of Labor, labor courts, private RAC centers, and other relevant entities.
Required profile
- Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho).
- Active lawyer’s license.
- Minimum three years of experience practicing law, with a focus on labor law.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
Required skills
- Legal research and drafting.
- English‑Spanish translation of legal documents.
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation and procedural matters.
