Warehouse Assistant – El Coyol de Alajuela

About the role

This position supports daily warehouse operations in El Coyol de Alajuela, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched according to DHL and client standards. The role reports to the Floor Manager and follows strict quality, safety, and compliance guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform receiving, picking, shelving, replenishment, pre‑check, and dispatch activities following internal and client procedures.
• Enter accurate timestamps and task data into the designated system in real time.
• Report incidents, technical issues, and any product damage promptly.
• Support inventory cycles and verify product quality throughout all processes.
• Load and unload containers, locate merchandise, and ensure physical movements match system records.
• Operate a forklift when authorized and necessary.
• Maintain equipment in good condition and adhere to 5S, environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement programs, training sessions, and performance‑tracking initiatives.

Required profile

• Primary education completed.
• 0–6 months of experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and communicate effectively with the team.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (with required certification).
