Treasury Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Treasury Specialist to join Evertec’s finance team. In this role you will manage daily cash operations, ensure optimal liquidity, and support internal controls across our multi‑country payment processing business.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and prepare accurate cash‑flow forecasts.
• Execute banking transactions, supervise investment activities and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial service providers.
• Recommend and implement improvements to treasury processes to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Apply Evertec’s SOX and other internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies and information‑security standards.
• Report any exceptions to internal controls through the appropriate channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in treasury functions.
• Proficiency in English (B2 conversational).
• Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis tools.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• SAP (or other ERP platforms).
• Basic knowledge of Power BI.
• Understanding of GAAP and SOX controls.
