Supply Chain Analyst – Inventory Control

About the role

The Inventory Control Analyst will support operational activities related to inventory management for AWS infrastructure supply chain operations. This role ensures accurate inventory records, resolves operational issues, and maintains efficient processes across data centers, DBS hubs, and rack integrator partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and execute daily allocation processes.
• Review and resolve invoices on hold, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Monitor and manage inventory holds and release processes.
• Create and manage purchase orders with AWS approval workflows.
• Prepare executive summaries and status updates for business forums.
• Track and report key inventory metrics and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory processes and procedures.
• Support business reviews with data‑driven insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Relevant studies in Business Administration, Logistics or Accounting.
• 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Experience with inventory management systems and databases.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends or discrepancies.
