Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

Our client, Trelleborg Medical Solutions, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support manufacturing processes within a regulated medical‑device environment. The role will manage supplier quality, lead CAPA programs for supplier non‑conformances and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and assess new suppliers for technical, quality and manufacturing capabilities.
• Support engineering and inspection teams in analysing incoming material defects and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• Coordinate supplier audits against ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (and related standards) and track audit findings to closure.
• Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), lead risk assessments, and communicate supplier performance risks.
• Develop control plans, support change‑control activities and lead cost‑reduction projects related to supplied materials.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree in Quality Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• B2‑level English proficiency, valid passport and US visa.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (including 210/211).
• Familiarity with ICH Q7 and GMP/ISO standards.
• ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Engineer/Auditor (preferred).
