Supervisor I, Technical Training

About the role

Make a meaningful difference to patients around the world. As part of Edwards Lifesciences manufacturing teams, you will support sewing, assembly, delivery and distribution activities with a focus on detail, continuous improvement and turning innovative ideas into reality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise trainers, training support staff and all training activities, including management of training materials and inventory.
• Collect and analyse productivity, quality and training metrics, providing regular progress reports to management and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Oversee daily execution of trainer methods and tools, coaching trainers to ensure effective delivery.
• Develop, plan and schedule screening, work trials and training sessions in response to Master Product Schedule and New Product Introduction needs.
• Provide feedback, conduct performance reviews and resolve performance issues for trainers and trainees.
• Participate in improvement projects, partner with engineering on investigations, corrective actions and non‑conformance reviews.
• Prepare and maintain training records to ensure audit compliance.
• Perform other incidental duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as industrial, chemical, electrical, mechanical engineering or business administration.
• At least 1 year of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment and working with cross‑functional teams.
• Substantial technical knowledge in manufacturing, quality or product development engineering.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Availability to work Shift A: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of an ERP system, preferably JDE.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology.
