Sr Systems Engineer

About the role

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for complex engineering of compute and storage environments, both on‑premise and in the cloud, ensuring solutions meet architectural standards and business needs. This role involves independent decision‑making on configuration, capacity planning and problem resolution for high‑value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Designs, configures, and implements complex regional compute and storage solutions to enable new business opportunities, support organic growth, M&A and new application services.
• Provides full operational support for global and regional infrastructure services that run revenue‑generating applications, productivity tools and customer support systems.
• Works with project managers to prioritize work and provides direction to Engineers and Associate Engineers to meet team commitments.
• Builds and updates automation and monitoring tools to improve system reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in systems engineering.
• Associate degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as VMWare VCAP‑DCV, MCSE Core Infrastructure, MCSA SQL Server, LPIC2, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Linux Foundation Certified Admin, PCEP, Red Hat Certified Ansible Specialist.
