Specialist Manager – Java & AWS Facilitation & Coaching

About the role

The Specialist Manager will join Deloitte Technology Academy’s Faculty & Delivery team in Costa Rica, delivering world‑class technical upskilling programs. The role focuses on designing and facilitating Java and AWS training for professionals, both virtually and in‑person.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain curriculum, instructional materials, and hands‑on labs for Java (Core, Advanced, Spring, Microservices) and AWS.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions, ensuring deep skill acquisition and participant interaction.
• Create presentations, technical assessments, and real‑world programming challenges.
• Mentor learners, provide guidance on coding and testing tasks, and address queries throughout the learning journey.
• Implement evaluation mechanisms to track progress and gather feedback.
• Stay current with Java, testing frameworks, and AWS advancements to keep content future‑ready.
• Collaborate with global SMEs, content developers, and cross‑functional teams to co‑create innovative programs.
• Travel as needed to deliver high‑impact training at Deloitte sites.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology facilitation or training delivery.
• Strong understanding of Java concepts from basic to advanced levels.
• Familiarity with AWS services is a plus.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across geographies.
