Specialist II, Logistics Traffic

About the role

Boston Scientific is seeking a Specialist II, Logistics Traffic to manage all export and import procedures. The role ensures efficient transportation alternatives, maintains accurate records, and supports compliance audits across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process all documentation required for export and import shipments, including cargo manifestos.
• Determine transportation costs and respond to customer inquiries regarding export/import procedures.
• Maintain the Operations Book and prepare monthly local purchasing and services reports.
• Collaborate with planning and purchasing teams to monitor transit of goods with third‑party logistics and sterilization providers.
• Monitor files and documentation for Procomer, represent the company in Procomer audits, and ensure compliance.
• Create invoices and issue various insurance policies related to shipments.
• Coordinate and assess transportation alternatives while tracking freight expenses and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar logistics or import/export role.
• English proficiency at 70‑79% level.
• Knowledge of Free Trade Zone Regimen and strong execution, decision‑making, planning, and communication abilities.
