Spanish AI Trainer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Spanish speaker to help train next‑generation AI models. Working remotely, you will ensure that Spanish language data meets the highest quality standards, shaping how AI understands and generates Spanish content.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Spanish items, identify quality issues, provide feedback, and escalate critical problems.
• Communicate updates, guidelines, and workflow changes to trainers and QA staff via Discord and other collaboration tools.
• Answer trainer/QA questions on grammar, tone, register, cultural context, and regional variations.
• Activate and monitor remote contributors, encouraging participation and tracking availability.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, trackers, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and lead onboarding and training sessions for new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Spanish proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Excellent English to follow guidelines and communicate with the team.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Spanish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, or annotation.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish grammar, punctuation, accents, tone, register, and cultural nuances for both Latin American and European variants.
• Experience leading or supporting remote language‑review teams is a strong plus.
