Sourcing Rate Analyst

About the role

The Sourcing Rate Analyst joins HPE’s Global Logistics & Spares Supply Chain (GLSS) Sourcing team to manage logistics rate cards and pricing governance across all transport modes. This hybrid position works on‑site two days a week and supports transformation initiatives such as TMS implementation and new vendor onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and analyse logistics rate cards for air, ocean, surface, rail, parcel, warehousing and brokerage services.
• Map commercial rate data into system‑compatible formats for SAP S/4HANA, TMS and TRAX.
• Ensure timely rate updates to support freight audit, accruals and invoice settlement.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Finance, IT/DT, Operations and external 3PLs, carriers and audit providers.
• Provide analytical insights to support sourcing strategies and prevent cost leakages.
• Drive standardised rate‑card management and governance across the enterprise.
• Support the transition from manual to automated, system‑driven rate management frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, transportation or supply‑chain rate management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders across finance, IT and operations.
• Independent judgment to solve complex business issues and lead project activities.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA (S4) for logistics finance integration.
• Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation and usage.
• TRAX logistics rate management platform.
