Buyer Procurement Operations

About the role

Huntsman is looking for a Buyer Procurement Operations professional to support the GBS Division in Costa Rica. The role will manage end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay activities, maintain purchasing data and act as a liaison between purchasing, manufacturing sites and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the purchase‑to‑pay process, ensuring order accuracy, placing purchase orders and handling invoice disputes.
• Coordinate logistic and operational activities, including order confirmation and alignment with demand targets.
• Maintain and update purchasing data such as pricing, supplier information and order profiles.
• Serve as the daily operational contact for commercial purchasing teams, manufacturing sites and administrative departments.
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities to increase automation and efficiency.
• Provide status updates to internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety and security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or logistics.
• Understanding of the purchasing process and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• B2+ level English proficiency.
