About the role
Workday is seeking an Express Sourcing Specialist to manage high‑volume, low‑to‑medium dollar sourcing projects within the Source‑to‑Pay process, focusing on people and corporate services categories.
Key responsibilities
- Execute software and technology sourcing projects aligned with category strategies.
- Manage a high volume of sourcing requests, primarily low‑to‑medium dollar value.
- Support creation, review, and negotiation of contracts to ensure favorable terms.
- Negotiate pricing, SLAs, and commercial terms with suppliers to maximize savings.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigate supplier‑related risks.
- Perform low‑complexity RFQs and quick bids to identify best‑value suppliers.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience in a high‑volume environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
