Software Engineer (Remote, 6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team on a 6‑month contract, with a high probability of extension. The position is fully remote and focuses on developing, supporting, and maintaining custom‑built applications across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, jQuery, JavaScript, Vue3/PrimeVue, CSS, HTML, and T‑SQL.
• Gather business requirements and produce conceptual and technical designs for multiple concurrent projects.
• Utilize Git and Azure DevOps for source control, continuous integration, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and optimise existing software for performance and reliability.
• Document processes, flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments to ensure future maintainability.
• Collaborate with the broader team to brainstorm and create new products.
• Stay updated on emerging development tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing web applications with the listed technologies.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T‑SQL.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services, object‑oriented design, and SQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps for code management and deployment.
• Experience with SQL Server reporting (SSRS) and integration services (SSIS).
