Software Engineer I – R&D (Medical Devices)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer I to join our R&D team developing high‑quality software for medical devices. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of solutions that improve healthcare outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing robust, scalable software with a focus on architecture and long‑term maintainability.
• Implement front‑end features using Angular while adhering to UI standards and regulatory constraints.
• Develop and maintain back‑end services in C#/.NET, following coding standards and security practices.
• Create and maintain SQL Server database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Participate in design discussions, testing activities, and defect resolution.
• Produce technical documentation to support traceability and verification.
• Support continuous improvement of existing medical device software systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of software development experience (including internships, co‑ops, or academic projects).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn regulated software practices and documentation standards.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
