Site Architect, Santa Teresa

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Site Architect to join our in‑house design team in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. The role combines technical design, construction documentation and on‑site architectural supervision for boutique hospitality and low‑rise residential projects, including villas and resorts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate technical architectural design from RIBA Stage 3 through construction.
• Translate design intent into buildable Revit models and detailed construction documents.
• Coordinate architecture with structural, MEP and interior disciplines using BIM and Navisworks.
• Provide on‑site architectural supervision, quality control and day‑to‑day technical problem solving.
• Review and approve minor design deviations and support inspection and acceptance of completed works.
• Assist the tender and construction documentation process when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of architectural design experience, preferably on hospitality and low‑rise residential projects.
• Strong technical and construction understanding with the ability to work independently on site‑related issues.
• Professional level of English and a portfolio demonstrating relevant work.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Revit.
• Strong experience with Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Rhino is a plus.
• Experience with BIM coordination (architecture‑structure‑MEP‑interiors).
