SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This is a part‑time, hourly contract position working remotely as an SEO & Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert. You will review AI‑generated SEO and marketing outputs, create high‑quality digital marketing content, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content, including prompts, content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for intent match, accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Identify and correct issues in search‑intent alignment, keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement, and compliance risks.
• Fact‑check information, write clear explanations, and produce gold‑standard outputs that demonstrate SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with the AI data services team to continuously improve model outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency, or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals such as keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, and SERP analysis.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO including crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals basics, and schema markup.
• Solid analytics instincts with experience using GA4, Google Search Console, dashboards, experiment design, and attribution.
• Exceptional attention to detail for spotting weak logic, over‑claims, hallucinated facts, or risky marketing claims.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in a remote, hourly workflow across time zones.
• Previous experience with AI data training, editorial QA, content operations, or performance‑marketing review is strongly preferred.
