Senior Systems Engineer – SaaS & Microsoft 365 (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to own our enterprise SaaS application portfolio and act as a secondary administrator for the Microsoft 365 environment. The role is ideal for a systems generalist with deep expertise in SaaS administration, identity and access management, automation, and enterprise‑wide IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise SaaS applications, including evaluation, onboarding, configuration, support and retirement.
• Integrate SaaS solutions with Microsoft Entra ID using SAML, OIDC, OAuth and SCIM, and maintain SSO and automated provisioning.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Defender and Purview.
• Develop automations with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API and low‑code/iPaaS platforms.
• Provide Tier‑3 escalation support, perform root‑cause analysis and mentor junior engineers.
• Assist with networking infrastructure – routing, switching, firewalls, DNS and hybrid connectivity.
• Support security and compliance initiatives aligned with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 frameworks.

Required profile

• 7+ years of systems engineering experience across cloud, networking, identity management and SaaS platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and Entra ID.
• Proven experience implementing SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth and SCIM integrations.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts and security/compliance frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
