Senior Security Operations & Risk Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead daily cybersecurity operations at DXC, overseeing incident response, threat detection and cloud security governance. The role ensures enterprise systems are protected while aligning security initiatives with business goals and managing risk and compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily security operations, including monitoring, threat detection and incident response.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Manage security projects and coordinate team members to align with organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address security risks and integrate cybersecurity strategies with business objectives.
• Promote security awareness and deliver training programs across the company.
• Conduct security incident investigations, response actions and post‑incident analysis.
• Evaluate, recommend and implement security technologies, especially for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Track, maintain and report on key security metrics and performance indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a similar security operations role.
• Proven experience managing security operations and incident response.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Continuous learner with up‑to‑date knowledge of cybersecurity trends.
• Preferred: advanced degree and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA.
