Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

Freudenberg Medical is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join its Alajuela site. You will work in a global technology group that delivers high‑quality medical device solutions, supporting the full product lifecycle from concept to volume production.

Key responsibilities

• Solve complex, non‑standard quality problems and develop new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Act as a specialist in quality engineering, contributing to product and process improvements.
• Lead smaller projects with moderate complexity, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Provide formal training and mentorship to junior staff and serve as a resource for colleagues.
• Collaborate across disciplines to integrate best practices and maintain a safe, stable work environment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in quality engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of quality theories, practices, and procedures, with awareness of industry competition.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and to lead project steps.
• Strong analytical judgment based on multiple information sources.
