Senior Marketing Analyst

About the role

L.L.Bean is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to own and advance in‑season performance measurement, trend analysis, and forward‑looking projections for its Direct Channel (digital, phone, and customer service). The role translates complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership and supports strategic decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, validate, and synthesize weekly performance updates for the Direct Channel.
• Lead advanced performance and trend analyses, integrating multiple data sources to uncover drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Craft decision‑oriented business narratives that frame trade‑offs for senior leaders.
• Maintain and evolve reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical processes.
• Partner with Marketing, Finance, and other teams to align assumptions, interpret results, and inform decisions.
• Own forecasting of core Direct Channel KPIs and develop planning processes.
• Mentor less experienced analysts, sharing best practices and raising analytical rigor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in similar analytical roles.
• Strong quantitative and storytelling abilities with high accuracy and independent judgment.
