Senior Manufacturing Supervisor

About the role

CooperSurgical is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead multiple production cells and shifts in a regulated medical‑device environment. The role is responsible for delivering safety, quality, on‑time delivery and cost targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing operations across several value streams, ensuring execution of production schedules and meeting customer commitments.
• Identify bottlenecks, investigate delays and coordinate corrective actions to maximize productivity and throughput.
• Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain to resolve operational challenges and support new product introductions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, monitor KPIs and implement equipment, tooling and process upgrades.
• Coach, develop and mentor Manufacturing Supervisors, Cell Leaders and production teams, overseeing training, performance evaluations and succession planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a labor‑ and machine‑intensive manufacturing environment, preferably in medical‑device or pharmaceutical production.
• Engineering degree in Industrial, Materials or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven leadership ability to develop talent, build engagement and achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data‑reporting tools.
