Senior Accountant (Hybrid)

About the role

Join Stryker’s Finance team as a Senior Accountant in a hybrid work setting. You will lead complex general accounting activities, ensure accurate month‑end close, and support compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed‑asset accounting, cash accounting, and financial reporting for assigned entities.
• Coordinate month‑end close activities, support audit processes, and execute Sarbanes‑Oxley controls.
• Partner with local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, investigate issues, and drive process improvements.
• Document and migrate accounting processes across multiple countries, identifying opportunities for standardisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or general accounting, preferably in a shared‑services or multinational environment.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
• English proficiency at B2 level.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros, charts, formulas).
• Experience with SAP or JD Edwards ERP systems.
